I’ve discovered that the most valuable part of this ongoing Soul Project is the time being spent in between – the actual journey that takes place while you’re losing the weight… literally. It’s the journey you go on mentally while you’re running… while you’re pressing those dumbbells toward the ceiling; while you’re struggling to bring up that torso for the 40th situp in a row – while the rain lightly kisses your forehead as you work your way through it during your last kilometre home.
